Sharon is CEO Phoenix Health Fund, Director Members Health Fund Alliance & Director Members Own Health Funds & has over 20 years’ experience in senior executive roles, including with Westpac, St George Bank & Newcastle Permanent. She holds a Bachelor of Economics, MBA, Masters of Business Research and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Tracy Shepherd BBus
Head of Sales & Marketing
Tracy Shepherd has worked in the Health Insurance Industry including as General Manager for two health funds implementing changes in Sales, Marketing and Claims initiatives. Tracy has also represented the industry on many Committees and working groups considering the implementation of the latest Health Insurance Reform Initiatives.

Steve is an experienced Finance professional with over 25 years working in Senior Finance and General Manager roles. He has a Bachelor of Commerce, CPA Qualified and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.
Sharon Taylor
IT & Analytics Manager
Sharon Taylor is an experienced Manager having worked in Health Insurance managing IT Systems & Analytical reporting for over 20 years. Sharon has worked with four different health funds and has also worked for our current systems partner HAMBS Systems Limited. Sharon also represents the Industry on several working groups and also holds an advanced certificate in accounting.

Member Service Manager
Victoria is the Member Service Manager. Her work includes management of the Member Service team to ensure we provide the best level of service to our members.

Bruce Arnott BCom CPA
Chair
Bruce was appointed as Chair of Phoenix Health Fund in 2015. His career has included senior positions as CFO and Company Secretary at publicly listed engineering company, Bradken and senior positions within OneSteel, BHP and Tubemakers. Bruce is also a Director of The Mutual. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle and is a member of CPA Australia.
Steve James BEng(Hons) GAICD
Steve James holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is the Chair of the Risk Committee. He has been a Director of APRA regulated organisation’s for over 15 years. He has a strong interest and skills in Governance and Risk Management. His career has included work in safety, projects, planning and senior management positions in both Australia and international postings.

Brett is National Manager, Energy & Carbon, Arrium Mining and Materials. He has been on the Board since 2007 and is a Member of the Risk Committee and the Audit Committee.
David Byrnes BBus GAICD
Director
David is the Product Marketing Manager at Arrium Mining and Materials and holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is the Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He has served as Deputy Chairman and has been a member of the Board since 2007.

Adrian is General Manager - Product Support at WesTrac and joined the Board in 2014. His previous roles have included General Manager - Finance & Commercial Asciano Limited, OneSteel Manager Coil Coaters & Innovation and OneSteel Manager - Sheet & Coil NSW & QLD. He is Deputy Chair of the Board, Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Risk Committee.

Danielle is Partner and Investment Advisor with Crestone Wealth Management and was appointed to the Phoenix Board in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Business International Trade and Retail Management, Masters of Finance and Investment and is an accredited Stockbroker. Danielle is a member of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee and the Risk Committee.
