
Have you heard? Brussel Sprouts are making a comeback… which is amazing news because they are so good for us being jam packed with hormone balancing and liver boosting nutrients! This recipe is so delicious it will make a fan out of even the biggest Brussel Sprout critic – they’re the perfect side to your spring BBQ dinner.

Makes: 4-6 servings
What you’ll need
For the Brussel Sprouts
- 2 1/2 cups organic Brussel Sprouts, washed, ends trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Sea salt & pepper, to taste
For the Brussell Sprouts
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 4 tsp gluten-free soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- sprinkle red pepper flakes and cracked black pepper
How to make it
STEP 1 Pre-heat oven to 200 0c.
STEP 2 Place Brussel Sprouts on a lined baking tray and toss with the sprouts ingredients above. Roast for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 3 While the Brussel Sprouts are roasting, whisk together the glaze ingredients in a small bowl.
STEP 4 Remove the Sprouts from the oven, toss evenly with the glaze and place back into the oven to roast for another 10 minutes, until they’re cooked through and the sauce has caramelised.
STEP 5 Remove from the oven and let cool. Optional – top with red chilli flakes, flakey sea salt and sesame seeds.
