Kick Start Extras 50 is our entry level Extras cover and the only Extras product available that you can take without also holding Phoenix Health Hospital Cover. It’s great for people that don’t use Extras all that often, but still want a bit of cover for things like the occasional check-up with the dentist.
On Kick Start Extras 50 you get 50% back at any registered provider – so there’s no need to change providers to get the most from this cover.
With Kick Start Extras 50, you receive a 50% set benefit for the following range of services. Unless otherwise specified, limits are per person, per year and reset on the 1st of January each year.

Yes! With Kick Start Extras 50, you’re covered for emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, Australia-wide where medically necessary.
If you choose to take out Kick Start Extras 50 as a stand-alone product (i.e., extras only, no hospital cover) you will receive a 50% benefit up for Ambulance claims up to $1,000 per person, per calendar year.
Kick Start Extras 50 with Phoenix Health Hospital Cover
All available Phoenix Health Hospital Covers include unlimited cover for all medically necessary ambulance treatment and transport Australia-wide. So, if you choose to take out Kick Start Extras 50 cover in combination with any available Phoenix Health Hospital cover, any eligible Ambulance claims you make will be covered in full and processed against your Phoenix Health Hospital Cover.
