Section 1: Extras Cover Overview

Extras Cover, provides benefits for everyday non-hospital treatments that aren’t covered by Medicare. They’re services that help support your health and wellbeing like Dental, Optical and Healthy lifestyle services.

At Phoenix Health we have three different levels of Extras cover, that can all be included with one of our Hospital covers. One of which you can hold without Hospital cover.

Extras Cover is where you can really get value for your money and your Private Health Insurance. Extras are more about supporting your everyday health and wellbeing, as well as taking a proactive approach to your health.

There’s generally no Medicare benefit for most Extras services, so having Extras Cover is a really helpful way to cover some of the costs and put some money back in your pocket.

No. At Phoenix Health your preferred provider is ours too! When it comes to our health, who treats us is a personal decision and we believe you should get generous benefits no matter who you see. So, instead of a preferred provider network, you’re free to be treated by whoever you choose (as long as they are a registered provider) and still get the same great benefits.

• Value Extras 60 and Healthy Flex Extras 50 are only available for purchase when combined with Phoenix Health Hospital Cover
• Kick Start Extras 50 is available to purchase with or without Phoenix Health Hospital Cover
